Day Trip Games is an independent game studio based in Istanbul. It makes short, polished, cozy games: the kind you can start after lunch and finish before dinner, and still think about a week later.

The studio's rule is simple. No 100-hour grinds, no filler, no pressure. Each game aims for a two-to-three-hour session with the care usually saved for much bigger productions: warm lighting, hand-made low-poly worlds and music you can unwind to.

Its first game, Nookmaker, is a cozy decorating game coming to Steam in Q1 2027. Day Trip Games is both its developer and publisher.

Nookmaker is a cozy decoration and life-sim game for PC. You take a small, bare room and make it somewhere you'd actually want to sit: pull in a desk, push a rocking chair towards the window, hang a shelf, and keep adjusting until it clicks.

There is no timer and nothing to fail. Warm lamps, soft shadows and a low-poly world that's easy on the eyes make Nookmaker something to unwind with rather than something to beat.
